Motorcycle Awareness Proclaimation at the Ridgecrest City Hall.

This Wed. night at city hall the city will sign a
proclamation for motorcycle awareness month. Please,
if you are able to, bring your bike to city hall by
6pm for this event. We want to fill the front area
with as many bikes as we can. It will only be an hour
or so of your time and will show support for all
motorcycle riders of the IWV. See all of you at city
hall, 6pm, Wed night, the 17th of May.

Breakfast Ride to Shatterfields in
Tehachapi. Meet 8 AM -- Inyokern Chevron with Stan...or Jack-in-the-Box with Dave! Dave's leading the ride. Guess we'll meet up at Shatterfields.

Hi everyone,

VX-9 will be having a Memorial Service for our Airman that died from his injuries sustained in the 12 May motorcycle accident.

I have been told that this will be open to the public but I cannot verify that non-base personnel will be authorized to come on base for this.

Please pay your respects if you would like to.

The Service begins at 1500 at the base Chapel.

RAG HOG Dinner Ride to Rossi’s in Big Pine.

Meet at Inyokern Chevron at 5 pm, 1700 hours, Saturday evening, 27 May 2006. We will depart at 5:20 pm, 1720 hours. The dinner hour is 7 pm, 1900 hours. We have 15 slots so it would help if you let me know if you are going. If we have more than 15 we will call with the new numbers.

Rossi's Big Pine Dinner Ride is still on!

Wade Tallman came up with the idea of leaving RC about 0700 Saturday morning, 27 May 2006, from the Chevron on E. Ridgecrest Blvd., riding to Beatty for breakfast and a refuel stop, Then going to Gold Point and checking out their Memorial Day weekend events for a couple of hours, continuing from there to Bishop for a
couple of hours at Mule Days, and finally rendezvousing with everyone else at Rossi's in Big Pine.

The trip is about 418 miles for the entire route door-to-door.

Two of the fuel stops are roughly 130 miles apart.
