ESCR Scheduled Monthly HOG Meeting:

9AM at the Grape Leaf on the corner of Drummond and N. Heritage Drive. Breakfast from 8 AM: We can order off the menu. (In the future, if a number of people want a buffet, The Grape Leaf will work on that with us.)

ESCR After Meeting Lunch Ride:

Destination: Historical Site WWII Manzanar Internment Camp ... 90 miles north of Ridgecrest on the west side of HWY395 -- a few short miles north of Line Pine. Plenty of good parking. A very informative archival 22 minute theater movie. Tour the excellent and specific indoor exhibit documenting the 10,000 Japanese for whom Manzanar was home. Take a short walk to 1942- and 1945-era housing units and a mess hall. Then ride our motorcycles the excellent hardpan 3.2 mile perimeter of the camp ... with marked and numbered exhibit locations. Park midway along the perimeter and visit the camp cemetary ... to end the visit.

After Manzanar ... we'll ride back to the Totem restaurant in Lone Pine for lunch ... located on the northwest corner at the only stop light in town. (OPEN RIDE)
