 Sherman Pass Ride

June 14, 2003

This day began with our monthly breakfast and meeting at Charlie's Sports Bar in the Carriage Inn. It was our HOG Club picture day too. Robert is still getting prints for the membership. After the meeting...there was a club ride of 13 bikes...up Nine Mile Canyon...and up to Sherman Pass...thru the recent McNalley Fire country. We continued west over the mountains to the Kern River...north of Kernville...and north from there to walk the "Trail of 100 Giants" -- a wonderful old Sequoia grove. We then rode to The Ponderosa Restaurant for lunch...before returning home via Kernville. What a great ride with friends.
