Many thanks to Sandra and Mike Moore for arranging and leading
this very fun ride to their ole stomping ground!
Our stay at the Blue Sail Inn, Morro Bay, was perfect...
as was the weather -- mild and foggy for
a misty break from the July desert heat!
;-)
You bet we're ready!
Gas break at Tehachapi
Arvin
Brown Eyed Susans
Steve's tank...
Gas break at Maricopa
Herman customized his gorgeous ride!
Tommie with a problem!
Bobby watching Tommie with a problem!
Wade needing air pressure to soften the ride on
Cheryl's end of their brand new bike!
Near Nipomo -- intersection of HWYs 166 and 101
One of the new El Camino Real bells that decorate the ole mission trails
No! This is not the Morro Bay rock!!!! ;)
We arrive at The Blue Sail in Morro Bay
There's the Morro Bay rock!
Giovanni's restauant deck over the shoreline
Herman's front fender -- subtle in the misty sunshine
Don't let this fool you for a minute!!!! ;)
Water treatment plant towers in the distance
Off to Atascadero Harley and the wine country

And you think Tommie had trouble with her soda bottle!
Don had two new tires mounted the day before this trip
(and won't say where). But the front and rear tires were swapped on the rims!
Atascadero Harley was good enough to "rotate" Judy and Don's
Road King tires...while the whole group waited (and shopped).

Folks got hungry waiting and shopping...
so walked to the nearby "Bubba's" country kitchen
for food and refreshments
Wade won 3 or 4 jackpots -- but mere tokens were his reward!
Judy and Doug shortly after hearing from their daughter that she was
awarded a scholarship to Baylor University in Texas!
The ole wine wagon!
Madonna Inn, San Luis Obispo, CA (check out the link)
A live demo of the infamous men's toilet
that the women must visit!
Billy goat's gruff!
Final restaurant stop at The Cattleman's in Tehachapi...
after a long hot (VERY HOT) ride across the Sacramento Valley.
It was so hot that Judy didn't even take any pictures along the way!
