Doug Gerard's New Harley

By way of introduction...here's the contents of an email Stan sent out January 21, 2005. Below is a great picture of those who enjoyed the ride to Ventura HD to retrieve Doug's new Harley:
I think all of you may
have met Doug and Judy Gerard. Doug works on base and Judy is a teacher.
Judy already has a HD and has come to some club events and a cruise
night. Well Judy finally got her HOG membership fixed
and in place and Doug bought a new bike at Ventura Harley. He is set
to drive over on Sunday to pick it up. He wants to ride home but not
alone, break in and
first ride issues. He did say he would like an escort from some HOGS
if anyone wants to go. I will go over weather willing so if plans are
firmed up on Sat I
would like to see some other HOGS make the trip. They both plan on joining
our club and this would be a great intro for them and a chance for the
rest of us
to ride. Please let me know if any of you would like to make a day trip
to Ventura Harley.
